The Widow’s Journey: when two becomes one

Hello and welcome.

Since you’ve come here, I need to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know how you’re hurting because I too am a widow. I’ve shed the tears, experienced the gaping hole, tried to imagine a future alone.

You’re safe here. You’re with friends. We’re sisters in sorrow, women struggling to survive.

Whether you were married for mere months or many long years, when two becomes one, the pain of loss is overwhelming, a physical weight pressing on your chest until it’s hard to breathe.

We have been in that place, and felt that pain.

When friends and family tell you to move on, we will be here to be your life line, widow to widow.

We understand. We’re glad you’ve come to Widow’s Journey.

If this is your first visit, I suggest you start here, where I started.
